Private Viewing of Caroline Herrera Spring/Summer Collection

I was so excited when I got a call from my friend inviting me to attend the Caroline Herrera Spring/Summer viewing on Madison Avenue. What a great excuse to dress up and hit Manhattan on a Tuesday night!  My friend Fiona wore a beautiful Carolina Herrera white shirt which she purchased a few years back while I opted for a black jump suit which I paired with a mink stole that I purchased at a vintage store for $19 dollars.

As soon as we arrived we were escorted inside and immediately given champagne (I love my bubbles).  Male models walked around serving delicious canapés and h’orderves while several female models drifted through the crowd, showcasing the latest designs from the Spring & Summer collection. It was a sea of beautiful hues of emerald greens, reds and blues and bright canary yellow and it took over the whole room.  Design was very classic and quality of fabric was beyond impressive.  I loved the bags and matching shoes and even the very cute matching fan, a perfect cooling accessory on a humid day.  I was already planning my outfit for the Belmont races in my mind.

After a purchase of the newest fragrance and a beautiful pair of sandals we left with a beautiful goody bag and up to the Mark Hotel for a few cocktails.
